Chelsea earned her law degree from Penn State Law in 2018, and joined Laperouse Kennedy, PC in 2024. In law school, Chelsea was a Senior Editor of the Penn Slate Law Journal of International Affairs, a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the Corporate Law Society, and the Women’s Law Caucus.
Chelsea’s practice is focused on commercial litigation and construction law. She represents clients in all segments of the construction industry, assisting clients with construction and design defects, breach of contract/breach of warranty claims, mechanic’s lien and bond claims, and project delays and inefficiencies. Chelsea is a member of the Construction Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association and the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Representative Cases:
- Obtained a $17 million verdict for an estate and trust beneficiary in a suit against the executor and trustees involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and common law fraud.
- Successfully defended employer in a suit involving claims of sexual harassment brought to trial by the EEOC on behalf of seven claimants.
- Obtained a verdict establishing client’s ownership of real property against party claiming ownership under a forged deed.
